Celebrate Maitland’s 125th anniversary on July 17th as a whimsical parade saunters down Maitland Avenue at 3:45 PM on its
way to Lake Lily Park and the annual “Party in the Park”. The event at Lake Lily will showcase The Maitland Historical Society, Art Center, Performing Arts, Public Library, Civic Organizations and Businesses. Chalk Artists will be decorating our walkways with color and creativity. Strolling musicians and entertainers will ll the air with music and provide enchanting encounters for youngsters of all ages. Clowns, games, and balloons will create a setting where summer eats and treats like hotdogs, popcorn and more will be available for purchase.
The Maitland Stage Band will perform at 6 pm, Goldenseal at 7 pm and the Maitland Symphony Orchestra will perform a special celebration concert at 8 pm that will provide a musical background for a fireworks finale at 8:45 pm.
Bring a chair and enjoy a great evening at Lake Lily Park!

This years artist lineup includes 2AM Club, Neon Trees, Jessie James, White Tie Affair, Charice, FeFe Dobson, Big 10-4, and Aaron Fresh.

The annual Fall Fiesta in the Park is one of Orlando's perennial favorite community events. The festival is held on Rosalind Avenue between Central Boulevard and Robinson Street in Lake Eola Park. This year's big event will take place Saturday & Sunday, November 7th & 8th, 2009, from 10:00am until 5:00pm. Admission is FREE!
You'll have the opportunity to browse through more than 600 booths, perusing various arts and crafts along the sidewalks of beautiful Lake Eola. The handmade works will be on display and for sale. They include: paintings, sculptures, weaving, ceramics, jewelry and plants.
Fiesta in the Park features an extensive food court area, showcasing plenty of tasty ethnic foods, as well as classic festival fare. You'll also be treated to live entertainment, by local performers, at the Lake Eola Amphitheater, located on the downtown side of the lake.
