Grilled and BBQ Flavor Options Jerk: CK Jerk Shack's specialty and by far the best flavor profile for most menu items. Meats are slow-seasoned with CK's signature wet Jamaican jerk rub and then smoked in the Jerk Pit rotisserie smoker. Combines the best of traditional Southern wood-smoked bbq and authentic Jamaican jerk bbq to create tender bbq with a great smoke-ring and a complex herb, spice and smoke flavor that fires-up your taste buds, without the traditional "burn" of jerk, i.e., you'll experience a carnival of flavors, rather than a volcano of fire. American (Southern BBQ): Meats are seasoned with our a hickory bbq dry rub and then smoked. Resulting food has smoked flavor and a tender texture.
Spanish Mojo (Cuban/Puerto Rican BBQ). Meats are marinated in a tangy citrus mojo criollo marinade with garlic, onions and other spices, and then smoked. Resulting food has a smoky, tangy flavor and a tender texture.
Hawaiian: Kalua Pork is seasoned with a special salt, partially wrapped in banana leaves and then slow-roasted in the rotisserie smoker. Resulting food has a mild smoky flavor and tender texture.
Herb-Roasted: Meats are seasoned in a secret blend of herbs and spices, including rosemary and thyme and then smoked in the rotisserie smoker. Resulting food is mild with a great smoky herb flavor and a tender texture.
Natural: Meats are seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper, and then grilled/smoked on our wood/charcoal grill or smoker to bring out their natural flavors.
Curry-Coconut (Asian BBQ): Meats are marinated in CK's secret recipe curry-coconut marinade, and then grilled on the wood/charcoal grill. Resulting food has such a great curry-coconut flavor that the peanut sauce is optional. (A Caribbean twist on Thai or Malaysian satay.) |
